| Where can I downlaod the files needed to get this phpbb2 to install I using php version 5.4 Not certain about the database version, is there a place here to download to get everything on one pack ? |

release-2.0.23.zip
download it, unzip it.
create a database on your hosting account. if you do not have mysql available as opposed to mysqli, then you may need to do the
search here for how to solve that problem.
access your ftp to your hosting account,
upload the phpBB folder to the server,
follow the install instructions.
you are done.

Thank you, that installed with no problems, A couple of questions
1 it has been a long time since I played with this do I need to change the file permissions on any of the folders and files
2 Does this copy contain any of the security updates and upgrades done here on this site if not can you please point me to them ? |

I dont remember for sure if phpbb2 correctly sets the permissions so,
after install all folders should be chmod to 775 and all files should be 644

no idea about any updates etc. to this site. however, there is a security update available here: http://dserver.macgui.com/phpBB-2.0.24-codechanges.zip
for the 2.0.23 version. it would be best to install easymod first then use it to install that update.

I don't see a password needed but you do have to be logged in as admin.
