I have the "No flood on edit" 1.0.1 by Graham which will be a later version.

Still going through to see if I have any others.

I have just taken a look at the Mod file - it is only an edit to a single line in the includes/functions_post.php

Got Download topics and posts 1.0.6 and Forum Tour 1.1.5 (not 1.0.2?) from OXPUS' website. Statistics 3.0.0 never really saw the light, I guess the latest was 2.1.5 by Acyd. It has been succeeded by Wicher's Statistics MOD 4.x, which I'm linking to here (is larger than 256 KB): http://www.wichersmods.nl/Mods/phpBB/StatisticsMod4.0.1/statistics_mod_v4.2.9.zip

Here are more of Wicher's MODs: http://www.wichersmods.nl/viewforum.php?f=2

The versions noted in the thread are the last one I found talked about. If you have higher version then it's always better.

How come Statistics v3 were never really released? I know IntegraMOD runs on that version, was it alpha/beta-stage? That explains why I didn't find it in the archive. Alas Wicher's stats mod doesn't seem to have an upgrade procedure from Acyd's mod, so it'll need uninstall first.

Wicher's mods seem very interesting. In particular, the Report mod seems much better than the card system everyone used to have. The notification one can be good too.

I know I had found another very good report mod but it was on phpbbhacks and I can't remember its name anymore.

Yes, its also stated in the installation instructions, that you have to uninstall any 2.x version:
Code:
When updating from versions before 4.1.3, then completly UNinstall statistics mod and install this one. If you are updating from 2.1.5 you first have to uninstall 2.1.5 completely For uninstalling 2.1.5 you can download that old version here: http://www.wichersmods.nl/Mods/phpBB/StatisticsMod4.0.1/statistics215.zip
Use it to see what files to delete from your server. In the zip is mod_uninst.php included wich you can use to uninstall 2.1.5 from your database.

Perfect, thanks. I didn't look there because I thought they were made in parallel.

Yup, that's the one. I remember it was from 2008 and that it had extensions.

Have you or anyone else tried that Advanced Report Hack? How does it compare to other mods, like Wicher's one, mentioned above?

I have used it in the past on a forum that discussed phpBB MODs, and it works pretty well. You have a simple interface for reporting posts (similar to that one used here), a Report Center for your moderators, where reports are categorized after their status, and an ACP module. Never used Wicher's Report Hack though, only S2B's.

I would like to show you a picture of how it looks, but I don't have a phpBB installation atm.

I found a backup of my heavy modded forum, but without any MOD packages attached (I could try to compile a list of what is installed though, but I barely remember everything, and there's been a lot of modifications done by myself on the core).

And I've found a copy of SnailSource's Calendar Pro 2.0.41 package in another folder. This is a calendar MOD, made by Martin from SnailSource.com, a domain which has been suspended, so it's no longer available (it was a paid MOD, and I've spent a few Euros on it back then).

Yeah trying to salvage a mod from a board seems like a mostly lost cause.

I don't think I've ever seen Calendar Pro in action, and the calendar I'm looking for only to upgrade the current version.

I have tried to find this specific version of the Mini Cal, but couldn't come up with something usable. There's a compatibility MOD by Adrian Cockburn (netclectic) for his Mini Cal with Snailsource's Cal Lite/Pro, which has a version of 2.0.x, but I'm unable to download a copy. So looks like you have to stick with 1.1.11.

I'm looking for any specific version, at least the one specified would be good.

I have found optimize database in the meantime

Found 1.1.11 (latest?). Digests 1.2.0 does not exist, according to the author, the latest was 1.0.19, but all downloads on the author's homepage don't longer work. Found 1.0.13a on phpBB.com instead.

You know what, Vendethiel? I checked my old modded forum again, and in a subfolder of the zip I found the installation package (instructions + files) for Mini Cal 2.0.4 + integrations. I extracted everything for Mini Cal from the archive and attached it (sorry for double post).

Amazing, thanks.

In the meantime, I started integrated Advanced Report Hack. It seems quite good. I'll probably be writing addons for KB/Album/... at some point.

Which makes me ponder for a bit...
I have written quite a few mods these past few years when coming back to phpBB2. I've written even more compatibility fixes between mods (to integrate them together), and even more fixes of bugs/recent compatibility. Since no one asks for such things (probably because the dozen of people who still have phpBB2 installs don't plan on touching anything) I've never posted them anywhere. Maybe I should, if only for completeness' sake. Then again -- who's gonna use them..?

You will never know the answer to that but if you get pleasure out of writing the mods then go for it. Maybe feedback in posts may give you an idea of usage. I suspect there are still a heck of a lot of phpBB2 boards out there. Mine still is and I have no intention of replacing it with Ver3. I think it will outlive me. icon_lol.gif
