Post subject: Mention bbcode

Does anyone know if there is a mention bbcode for phpbb2
For anyone that has not seen it typing @Jim-UK into a post would look like this @Jim-UK and the system would send an email to me saying that my username had been used and my attention was requested to look at a post. typing @ before a username is the same as [mention]username[/mention]
Sometimes when I see a post on my own site requesting help/info on something and know who can be of help I email that person and ask them to take a look at that posts. This would be a very useful add on.

Thanks in anticipation
Jim

There's a similar feature in Icy Phoenix using this syntax:
Code:
[user=1]

It doesn't send any emails however.

I had planned to integrate it in a upcoming "notifications" feature, but since I have work not integrated in the main codebase yet, I didn't start working on that...

With the one I have seen you enter the "@" followed by the username and after entering the first two letters a drop down menu appears from which you can pick the username. When submitted that @username is in red todraw attention to it and the mentioned person gets an email to notify them.

Quite useful

It is very useful. phpBB2 could really use, in general, better unread management(there are mods for that) or notifications. It's one of the only things I like in 3.x.
Could notify you when quoted or @-ed
